Danta is a companion that remembers your life. That makes this document part of the product, not paperwork. Below is what we hold, why, and how you take it back.

1. What we collect

• Account: your email address and a hash of your password — never the password itself.
• Conversations: the messages you send, by text or voice.
• Memory: facts about you that Danta remembers, so she can be a companion rather than a search box.
• Technical data: IP address, device identifier and app version — for security and diagnosis.
• Push token: your device token, only if you allowed notifications.

2. What we do with it

• Give you a companion who remembers you between conversations.
• Let her write first, if you allow it — and stop completely if you don't.
• Keep the service secure and protect it from abuse.

Staff never review your conversations. We don't sell them, rent them, or share them for advertising. We use them to train or improve Danta only if you opt in — never by default.

3. Storage

Conversations are encrypted at rest on our servers. How long they are kept depends on your plan: the free tier keeps a short window, paid plans keep more. You can request deletion at any time, and it is honoured.

4. Who else sees anything

Only the services that make the product work, and only the minimum each one needs:

• Model providers — the text of a conversation, to generate a reply. Not your email, not your identity.
• Firebase (Google) — the device token, to deliver a notification.
• Error monitoring — anonymous technical failures, without message content.

5. Voice

Speech is transcribed as it arrives. The audio is not stored — only the text, which is then treated like any other message. The microphone opens when you start a voice conversation and at no other time. There is no background recording.

6. What you can do

• Ask Danta what she remembers about you, and get an honest answer — like from a person, not a database export.
• Ask her not to bring something up — she'll remember the request and won't raise it first.
• Export a copy of your data.
• Tell her to stop writing first — she stops entirely, not "less often".
• Delete the account. The data goes with it.

7. Children

Danta is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

If something material changes, we tell you inside the product rather than quietly editing this page. The current version always lives here.
